When most people think of pro hockey they think of the NHL and the millions of dollars the players make. Mansions, ferraris, Rolexes, LV bags and the beautiful women that come along with it. Well unfortunately, most of the hockey players turning pro either retire right after juniors or have to grind it out in the minor leagues. For me it was going through the minor league route. From taking 24 hour bus trips across the country to being fed undercooked chicken for pre-game meal, this is my journey of the not so privileged life of a hockey player on the other side of the fence of the NHL.
